REMOTE VIEWING
Connect the NVR to UniEase
Connect the NVR’s LAN port to your router or network switch using an Ethernet cable.
Open Network in the NVR settings and enable DHCP for automatic network configuration.
Open the EZCloud page and confirm that the recorder displays an online status.
Install UniEase on your phone, create an account, and sign in.
In UniEase, add a device and scan the QR code shown on the NVR’s EZCloud screen.
A “No Resource” message usually means the recorder does not have enough decoding capacity to display every selected camera stream at its current resolution. It does not necessarily mean the camera is offline.
Prioritize sub-streams: Open Menu → System → Preview → Advanced and enable the option that uses sub-streams during multi-camera live view.
Clear unused outputs: Open Menu → System → Preview → Preview and remove camera layouts from HDMI or VGA outputs that are not connected to a monitor. Select Apply.
Reduce the sub-stream load: Open Menu → Camera → Encoding, then lower the affected camera’s sub-stream resolution or bitrate. Apply the change and retest live view.
Check for approved firmware: Install only firmware that matches the exact NVR model and hardware revision.
Firmware safety: Never disconnect power or network access during an update. Contact NSI Security before upgrading if you are uncertain which file applies to your recorder.
