We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to our website if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
3. Orders & Acceptance
All orders are subject to review and acceptance by NSI Security.
Submission of an order, purchase order, payment, or quotation approval does not guarantee acceptance, product availability, or shipment.
NSI Security reserves the right to refuse, cancel, delay, or limit any order for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Pricing, data-entry, or typographical errors;
- Product unavailability, allocation, backorder, or manufacturer discontinuation;
- Payment authorization issues;
- Suspected fraud, identity theft, or unauthorized transactions;
- Incomplete, inaccurate, or unverifiable customer information;
- Compliance with applicable laws, sanctions, regulations, or manufacturer restrictions;
- Errors in product descriptions, specifications, images, or supplier information; or
- Orders that appear intended for unauthorized resale, export, or prohibited use.
If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, any applicable refund will generally be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Pricing & Quotations
All prices are stated in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise indicated.
Written quotations are generally valid for 30 days, unless a different validity period is stated on the quotation.
Prices, freight charges, taxes, availability, delivery estimates, and manufacturer specifications are subject to change without notice.
Changes may result from factors including:
- Manufacturer or supplier price increases;
- Tariffs, duties, or regulatory fees;
- Freight and fuel costs;
- Supply chain disruptions;
- Product shortages or allocation;
- Currency fluctuations;
- Manufacturer product revisions; or
- Other market conditions outside our reasonable control.
NSI Security is not obligated to honor pricing errors caused by typographical mistakes, technical issues, website errors, manufacturer data, supplier information, or unauthorized discount use.
5. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, compatibility information, availability, and pricing are accurate. However, manufacturers may revise products, packaging, software, firmware, accessories, and features without prior notice.
Accordingly:
- Specifications may change without notice;
- Product images may differ from the actual product;
- Packaging, labeling, and included accessories may change;
- Firmware versions may differ from those shown or described;
- Software and mobile applications may be updated, replaced, or discontinued;
- AI features, cloud services, integrations, and supported functions may change over time; and
- Manufacturer documentation will control in the event of a material product specification conflict.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, product photographs and illustrations are provided for general reference only.
Customers are responsible for reviewing current manufacturer documentation and verifying that products are suitable for their intended application before purchasing.
6. Professional-Grade Products
Many products sold by NSI Security are professional-grade surveillance, networking, storage, and video-management products that require technical knowledge for proper design, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance.
Professional installation and configuration are recommended where appropriate.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that purchased products meet their:
- Application requirements;
- Network environment;
- Bandwidth requirements;
- Storage capacity and retention requirements;
- Power and PoE requirements;
- Environmental and mounting requirements;
- Software, firmware, and licensing requirements; and
- Compatibility needs.
If you are unsure which products are appropriate for your project, we encourage you to contact our team before making a purchase.
7. Installation, Configuration & System Responsibility
Unless installation services are separately agreed to in a signed written agreement, NSI Security acts solely as a product supplier and technology distributor.
Customers are responsible for:
- Product installation, mounting, and placement;
- Structured cabling, electrical work, grounding, and surge protection;
- Programming and configuration;
- Network design and configuration;
- Internet connectivity and bandwidth;
- Firmware, software, and security updates;
- Password management and account security;
- User permissions and account administration;
- Cybersecurity practices and remote-access security;
- Data backups, recordings, and retention management;
- Ongoing system testing and maintenance; and
- Compliance with applicable building, electrical, fire, privacy, surveillance, recording, and local codes or laws.
Installation errors, improper wiring, configuration mistakes, network issues, inadequate storage, incorrect product selection, or improper setup do not constitute product defects and are not grounds for warranty coverage or return unless otherwise required by applicable law.
8. Third-Party Compatibility
Compatibility between products, software, cloud services, and equipment from different manufacturers cannot be guaranteed.
Third-party cameras, recorders, switches, routers, wireless equipment, servers, software, mobile applications, cloud platforms, and accessories may require additional configuration and may not operate as plug-and-play devices.
Compatibility may be affected by factors including:
- ONVIF profile and feature support;
- Firmware and software versions;
- Codec compatibility;
- Camera resolution and frame rate;
- Main-stream and sub-stream settings;
- Audio and video formats;
- Recorder decoding and bandwidth limits;
- Network topology and configuration;
- Licensing requirements;
- Manufacturer revisions or updates; and
- Discontinued third-party support.
Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility before placing an order. General guidance provided by NSI Security does not constitute a guarantee of compatibility unless specifically confirmed in writing for the complete proposed system.
9. Returns & Refunds
Returns are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. A valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) issued by NSI Security is required before any product may be returned.
For quality control, warranty validation, inventory management, product authentication, and fraud-prevention purposes, NSI Security records product serial numbers and other identifying information before shipment.
All returned products are verified against our order and shipment records.
Products returned with altered, removed, defaced, missing, unreadable, or mismatched serial numbers or identification labels may be refused and may not qualify for a refund, exchange, replacement, or warranty service.
Do not write on, tape, or attach shipping labels directly to the manufacturer’s retail packaging. Products returned with damaged, marked, taped, or altered manufacturer packaging may be subject to additional restocking fees or may be refused if they can no longer be sold as new.
Returned products must include all original accessories, manuals, power adapters, mounting hardware, cables, antennas, licenses, software, documentation, and packaging.
Missing items, damaged packaging, or incomplete returns may result in a reduced refund, additional charges, or denial of the return.
Eligible returns that are not the result of an error by NSI Security, verified shipping damage, or an approved defective-product claim may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%.
10. Our Commitment to You
At NSI Security, we value long-term customer relationships built on trust, transparency, and professional service.
We strive to provide accurate product information, competitive pricing, and responsive customer support. If you have questions before placing an order, our team is available to help you review product selection, compatibility, storage, networking, and technical requirements.
Product recommendations are based on the information provided by the customer. Customers remain responsible for confirming final project requirements, site conditions, applicable codes, and system suitability.
11. Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
For commercial orders, project-based sales, special-order products, custom-configured equipment, non-stock products, or large transactions, NSI Security may require a deposit, partial payment, or full payment before processing the order.
Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, deposits become non-refundable once:
- An order has been accepted;
- Products have been ordered from a manufacturer or supplier;
- Inventory has been allocated specifically for the customer;
- Custom configuration or preparation has begun; or
- Non-cancellable costs have been incurred.
Orders may be delayed, suspended, or cancelled if payment authorization cannot be obtained or if payment is not received when due.
Customers are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, freight charges, payment processing charges, collection costs, and other amounts stated on the applicable order, invoice, or quotation.
12. Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss
Shipping and delivery are governed by our Shipping Policy.
Shipping dates, delivery estimates, freight schedules, and product availability are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

NSI Security is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:

Customers are responsible for inspecting shipments promptly and reporting shipping damage, shortages, or incorrect items in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

NSI Security does not manufacture the products sold through our website and does not modify, extend, replace, or override manufacturer warranty terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NSI Security does not guarantee uninterrupted product operation, uninterrupted cloud or software service, continuous remote access, complete compatibility, or prevention of all security incidents, losses, failures, or unauthorized activity.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NSI Security shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the purchase, installation, configuration, operation, failure, or use of any product.

- Electrician, contractor, technician, or other third-party labor charges;
- Travel, lodging, equipment rental, lift rental, or site-access expenses; or
- Any other indirect or consequential loss.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NSI Security’s total cumulative liability for any claim relating to a product or transaction shall not exceed the amount actually paid to NSI Security for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
17. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NSI Security, NSI Surveillance Inc., and their respective officers, employees, representatives, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, damages, and expenses arising from:
