How It Works
Simply connect a male BNC connector to each female side of the coupler. The adapter joins the two BNC connections together, allowing an existing coaxial cable run to be extended without replacing the complete cable.
Compatibility Note
Verify the BNC connector type and the required cable impedance before installation. For CCTV video applications, 75-ohm BNC components are commonly used; RF applications may use 50-ohm components. Similar BNC couplers are available in both 50-ohm and 75-ohm versions.
