Before installation, calculate the total PoE load of all connected devices. Each PoE port can support up to 30W, but the total switch PoE budget is 65W. For IP camera systems, also confirm uplink speed, NVR bandwidth, cable distance, extend mode requirements, and whether cameras should be isolated from the main office network.
