Overview

The UNV NSW3000-8T2GT-POE-IN provides eight PoE+ camera ports and two Gigabit uplinks in a fanless chassis. It is a practical network hub for a compact IP camera system.

Power distribution

Each PoE port supplies up to 30W, within the total 120W budget. Include the cameras’ maximum night-mode consumption when allocating power.

Long cable runs

Extended transmission can reach approximately 250m at a reduced rate of up to 10Mbps. That mode trades bandwidth for distance, so check each camera’s configured bitrate.
