Product Details & Technical Specifications
PoE-BT14G 5-Port Gigabit PoE Extender
The PoE-BT14G is a compact 5-port Gigabit PoE passthrough switch and extender designed to expand a single high-power PoE network connection into four PoE output ports for IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP devices, and other compatible powered equipment.
Featuring 1 PoE input and 4 PoE outputs, IEEE 802.3af/at/bt compatibility, Gigabit Ethernet transmission, VLAN isolation mode, and plug-and-play operation, the PoE-BT14G provides a convenient solution for adding multiple PoE devices where a local AC power outlet is unavailable.
Product Highlights
One PoE Input, Four PoE Outputs
Expands one compatible high-power PoE connection into four individual PoE network outputs for multiple powered devices.
Gigabit Network Performance
Supports 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet transmission for high-resolution IP cameras, wireless access points, and other network devices.
IEEE 802.3af/at/bt Support
Compatible with standard PoE, PoE+, and supported high-power PoE++ input sources for flexible professional installations.
High-Power Output Support
One designated output can provide up to 60W, while the remaining outputs can provide up to 30W each, subject to available input power.
VLAN Isolation Mode
Port-isolation functionality can help reduce unnecessary communication between connected devices and improve network stability.
Plug-and-Play Installation
Requires no software configuration or separate local power adapter when connected to a compatible PoE power source.
Expand One PoE Cable to Four Devices
The PoE-BT14G allows installers to distribute network data and available PoE power from one incoming Ethernet cable to as many as four compatible PoE devices.
- Reduces the need to install additional long cable runs
- No separate AC outlet required at the extender location
- Supports IP cameras, access points and VoIP equipment
- Suitable for wall, cabinet or protected outdoor installation
- Compact design for space-constrained deployments
Designed for Surveillance Networks
This PoE passthrough extender is well suited for surveillance installations where several cameras are located near one another but only one incoming Ethernet cable is available.
- Parking-lot camera clusters
- Building perimeter surveillance
- Warehouse and loading-area cameras
- Remote wireless access points
- Multi-device pole or wall installations
Incoming Power Determines Available Output
The PoE-BT14G does not generate additional electrical power. The combined power available to connected devices depends on the output capacity of the upstream PoE switch or injector, cable length, cable quality, and the extender’s own operating consumption.
A compatible IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ source is recommended when powering multiple devices or a high-power device. Do not calculate connected loads using the maximum rating of every output simultaneously.

Ideal Applications
PoE Compatibility and Power Planning
Confirm that the upstream switch or injector supports the PoE standard and power level required by the PoE-BT14G and all connected devices. An IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at source may operate the extender but may not provide enough remaining power for four connected devices.
For multi-device installations, use a compatible IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ source and calculate the combined maximum power consumption of all connected equipment before installation.
Outdoor Installation Notice
Install the device according to the enclosure instructions and protect all RJ45 connections from direct water exposure. Use outdoor-rated Ethernet cable, waterproof cable glands, drip loops, surge protection, and a properly grounded installation where required.
Do not submerge the device. An official IP enclosure rating has not been stated in this listing and should not be assumed.
Important Product Information
Specifications are subject to change without notice. Available PoE output, transmission distance, network speed, VLAN behavior, connected device compatibility, and overall performance may vary depending on the upstream PoE source, cable category, cable length, cable quality, connectors, installation environment, connected equipment, and product revision.
The maximum output rating of each port does not mean all ports can deliver their maximum output simultaneously. Total available power is limited by incoming PoE power and system losses. Always verify the current product documentation and complete a PoE power calculation before ordering or installation.
