For a 32-camera network that needs more drive capacity, the UNV NVR504-32B offers four SATA bays and RAID 1 or RAID 5. It records IP cameras at resolutions up to 16MP.
Hard drives are sold separately unless specifically included with the selected product option. Use compatible surveillance-grade drives; capacity depends on drive dimensions, firmware and the operating-temperature limits in Specifications.
Four bays allow the recording capacity to grow with the system. Calculate retention using the actual camera bitrates and recording schedule, then account for the space reserved by RAID.
Connect the recorder to the camera network through external switching. Camera power must be supplied separately, since this model has no built-in PoE ports.
