The UNV NVR501-08B is a compact eight-channel recorder for IP cameras connected through an existing network. One internal SATA bay provides local video storage without the size of a multi-bay chassis.
Hard drives are sold separately unless specifically included with the selected product option. Use compatible surveillance-grade drives; capacity depends on drive dimensions, firmware and the operating-temperature limits in Specifications.
Incoming bandwidth is up to 80Mbps. A compatible drive up to 24TB is supported under the specified temperature conditions; retention varies with bitrate and recording schedule.
HDMI and VGA show the same output. Supported camera-side events can be recorded and reviewed when the camera and recorder are configured for the required functions.
