Long-Distance Wireless Backhaul for Cameras and Networks
The CPE5 can extend Ethernet connectivity between buildings or carry surveillance traffic from remote cameras without trenching new cable. The 5 GHz radio handles bridge traffic, while the 2.4 GHz radio is available for management. For the best performance, install each unit with clear line of sight, accurate antenna alignment and proper surge protection.

A complete point-to-point wireless bridge requires two compatible CPE devices. Some distributor listings package the CPE5 as a pre-paired two-unit kit, while other listings may sell individual units. Confirm the quantity included in this specific NSI Security product listing before ordering.
Pre-Paired for Easy Installation
Each wireless bridge kit is automatically paired before shipment. Both units arrive brand new and pre-matched, eliminating the need for manual wireless pairing. The two bridge units are pre-paired and communicate only with each other by default, helping simplify installation and improve deployment reliability.
In most installations, simply mount both units, connect power and Ethernet, align them with a clear line of sight, and complete any required network settings. This significantly reduces installation time and makes deployment fast and straightforward.
Installation Recommendation
For best performance, both bridge units should have clear line of sight with minimal obstruction through trees, roofs, walls or metal structures. Confirm Fresnel-zone clearance, mounting height, antenna alignment, channel selection, interference levels, grounding, outdoor cable sealing, PoE wiring, surge protection and actual bandwidth requirements before installation. Maximum distance and throughput are not guaranteed and vary by environment.
Network & Camera Compatibility
The CPE5 transports standard Ethernet traffic and can be used with compatible IP cameras, NVRs, switches and network equipment. Actual camera count depends on measured wireless throughput, camera bitrate, codec, frame rate, network overhead, interference and link quality. The CPE5 does not provide PoE output to power a connected camera.
