8MP Frame-Rate Planning Notice

The camera supports up to 20 frames per second at its full 8MP resolution. Frame rates up to 30 fps are available at supported 5MP and lower resolutions. Select the resolution and frame rate according to the required image detail, motion performance, recorder capacity, bandwidth and storage-retention goal.

Professional Installation Tip

Use a compatible junction box or mounting bracket to protect the cable connection and provide a clean installation. Aim the 2.8mm lens so the important activity remains within the center portion of the image. Avoid mounting the camera directly beside reflective walls, soffits or glass that may cause infrared reflection at night. Confirm image rotation and horizon alignment before tightening the dome assembly.
