The UNV NVR508-64B combines 64-channel IP recording with eight SATA drive bays. It provides a central recording point for sites that need a larger camera count and flexible storage allocation.
Hard drives are sold separately unless specifically included with the selected product option. Use compatible surveillance-grade drives; capacity depends on drive dimensions, firmware and the operating-temperature limits in Specifications.
Incoming bandwidth is up to 320Mbps. Local display and playback capacity depend on stream resolution, so recording capacity and monitor decoding should be planned separately.
Disk capacity, camera bitrate and recording schedules determine retention. RAID 1 or RAID 5 uses part of the installed capacity for redundancy.
