UNV NVR508-64B

The UNV NVR508-64B is a professional 64-channel network video recorder designed for large commercial and enterprise IP video surveillance systems requiring high camera capacity, substantial recording bandwidth, scalable storage, and centralized security management.

Supporting recording resolutions up to 16 megapixels, up to 320Mbps incoming bandwidth, eight internal SATA hard-drive bays, RAID storage, N+1 hot-spare operation, independent or simultaneous HDMI and VGA display configurations, and Uniview Ultra 265 compression, the NVR508-64B provides a dependable recording platform for demanding multi-camera installations.

Important

Standard Non-PoE Recorder

The NVR508-64B does not include built-in PoE camera ports. All IP cameras must connect through compatible external PoE switches or the existing network infrastructure.

This is the standard NVR508-64B and should not be confused with the NVR508-64E-IQ, NVR508-64E-R, or NVR508-64E-R-IQ models.

Camera-Side Intelligence

Compatible Smart Event Integration

When paired with compatible intelligent cameras, the NVR508-64B can receive, display, record, and search supported camera-generated smart events and VCA data.

Supported functions may include face detection, vehicle detection, license-plate recognition, intrusion detection, cross-line detection, Ultra Motion Detection, temperature alarms, people counting, video metadata, traffic monitoring, and heat-map reporting.

This standard recorder does not provide the same recorder-side AI processing available on IQ-series models. Smart functions depend on the connected camera, firmware, available system resources, and configuration.
