The UNV TIC3612SA-F3-4F4AC-I1 combines a 4MP optical channel and a 960P thermal channel through one IP address. It supports fire detection, temperature measurement, cold and hot spot tracking, dual-channel smart intrusion prevention, optical smoke recognition, picture-in-picture viewing, built-in red/blue warning lights, two-way audio, 2-in/2-out alarms, MicroSD storage up to 512GB, PoE, IP67 and 6kV surge protection.

Thermal Detection + Visible Verification in One Device

The thermal channel detects heat patterns and abnormal temperatures in difficult lighting, while the optical channel provides detailed 4MP evidence for confirmation. The camera can run smart intrusion rules on both channels at the same time and supports picture-in-picture for direct thermal-versus-optical comparison.

Third-Party Recorder Compatibility

Third-party integration may not be plug-and-play. Some NVRs and VMS platforms may not fully support both channels, thermal palettes, temperature metadata, fire alarms, picture-in-picture, smoke recognition, warning lights, two-way audio, RS485 or alarm I/O. Verify dual-channel ONVIF handling, thermal-camera support, firmware, codec, frame rate and event compatibility before deployment.

Installation Tip

Confirm target size, distance, emissivity, viewing angle, ambient temperature, reflective surfaces, heat sources, alarm thresholds, fire-shield areas, PoE budget, storage, alarm wiring and recorder compatibility. Thermal accuracy and detection performance are affected by glass, reflective materials, angle, distance, weather and configuration.
