The UNV IPC6424SR-X25-VF is a professional 4MP LightHunter IR network PTZ camera featuring 25× optical zoom, intelligent auto tracking, advanced perimeter analytics, and Smart IR illumination reaching up to 100 meters.

Designed for parking lots, commercial properties, warehouses, schools, apartment communities, industrial facilities, and other large outdoor environments, this camera combines detailed long-range surveillance with responsive pan, tilt, and zoom control. It also supports PoE+, onboard MicroSD storage, audio and alarm integration, and IP67/IK10 protection.

The IPC6424SR-X25-VF supports ONVIF Profiles S, G, T, and M, along with RTSP streaming. Third-party integration may require manual network, ONVIF, user-account, stream, codec, resolution, frame-rate, PTZ, audio, and alarm configuration.

Basic live video and recording may be available while advanced functions such as intelligent auto tracking, face detection, people counting, smart-event search, audio, alarm I/O, edge-storage playback, and PTZ patrol configuration may require a compatible Uniview recorder, VMS platform, or supported third-party integration.

Professional Installation Recommendations

  • Use a compatible IEEE 802.3at PoE+ switch or properly sized 12V DC power supply.
  • Confirm that the PoE switch has enough available power budget for the camera’s maximum 21W consumption.
  • Mount the camera on a stable structure capable of supporting the camera and selected mounting hardware.
  • Avoid nearby walls, roof edges, poles, branches, and reflective surfaces that may cause infrared reflection.
  • Configure PTZ presets, patrols, home position, smart-event regions, target filtering, and auto tracking after establishing the final viewing angle.
  • Use outdoor-rated Cat5e or Cat6 cable, weatherproof connections, proper grounding, surge protection, and drip loops.
