The UNV IPC354SB-ADNF28K-I0 is a 4MP NDAA-compliant LightHunter fixed dome camera with 120dB true WDR, smart intrusion prevention, people counting, Ultra Motion Detection, built-in microphone, two-way audio, audio and alarm I/O, 30-meter Smart IR, MicroSD edge storage, and PoE. Because this model uses a cable-free, pigtail-free connection design and has no official IP weather-protection rating, NSI Security recommends it for indoor applications only.

Installation Recommendation — Indoor Use Only

This camera features a cable-free, pigtail-free design and is not recommended for outdoor applications. The official Uniview datasheet does not list an IP or IK environmental-protection rating for this model. The direct connection design also makes outdoor cable weatherproofing more difficult and may expose the network or power connection to moisture if it is not completely enclosed.

For indoor installations, the cable-free design provides a cleaner appearance and simpler cable management. For outdoor applications, NSI Security recommends selecting a camera with a traditional waterproof pigtail and a clearly stated IP67 weather rating.

Third-Party Recorder Compatibility

Third-party integration may require manual configuration. ONVIF support does not guarantee every advanced feature. Smart analytics, people counting, UMD, audio, alarm I/O, corridor mode, event search, and firmware management may be limited depending on the recorder, VMS, firmware, codec, and stream settings.
